TATTOO Frequently Asked Questions

I sent an email last night and I still have not heard back?

We are a busy studio and receive a large number of emails every day. We aim to reply to each within 24 hrs of receiving, but we are only human and juggle many things within the studio. Please be patient! You will always get a reply at some point.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

All bookings require a deposit but vary in price depending on the artist. This deposit is non-refundable and will go towards the final cost of your tattoo upon completion.

What if I want to change my booking?

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please make sure to give us adequate (at least 3 days) notice. The artist may forfeit your deposit and require a new deposit to be placed before making a new appointment.

When will my design be ready?

Artists handle their schedule very individually. Most artists draw your design the night prior to your booking. Consult with them regarding any changes and adjustments.

How should I prepare for my tattoo session?

It is important to eat well before your appointment even if you may not feel like it. Having an empty stomach and getting tattooed is not a good combination! Having a good night sleep and avoiding alcohol the night before can help you sit a longer session and prevent you feeling anxious/nervous before your tattoo. You are welcome to bring a sugary drink, snacks, tablet, charger, headphones to help you get through the session. Longer sessions may include lunch/tea breaks and there are a number of quality cafes and restaurants nearby.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

Your tattooist will talk you through your aftercare at the end of your tattoo. Different tattooists have different instructions on caring for tattoos so please follow the specific instructions offered by your tattooist. For aftercare questions, please contact your tattooist.
